Achieve near-zero energy bills

A renewable energy is one that is replaced faster than it is consumed. Unlike fossil carbon-based fuels that have a limited supply.
A good way of looking at this is to consider that humans have been around on our planet for around 200,000 years and, since the industrial revolution (200 years ago), have significantly increased our use of fossil fuels (initially coal and then oil and eventually natural gas). Now, coal, oil and natural gas don´t replace as fast as we use them, in fact, according to OU (Open University) data, we use them 2,000 times faster than they replace! That means that they will eventually run out – but when? Well using data from MAHB (Millenium Alliance for Humanity and Biosphere 2024) the figures are – Coal 66 years, Gas 36 years and Oil 28 years that means us humans need a plan B if we´re not going to be a little uncomfortable. Fortunately renewables are emerging as a viable energy source and electricity generated from Solar Panels is clean and plentiful. To add a little context, the current thinking is that the Sun has about another 5 billion years to burn giving us plenty of time to come up with another idea.
A 5kW system saves almost 2 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually.
Substantial electricity cost savings, falling installation prices, and attractive government incentives.
Generating power locally, reducing dependence on external energy sources and mitigating risks of grid disruptions.
A solar panel generates electricity by using light to energise electrons. Some electrons are sitting around in a solar panel not doing much at all. Then a light particle, (photon), bumps into the electrons and gets them all excited. The excited electrons “jump” from one layer of the solar panel to the other and, thus, create an electric current.
So, to be clear, it´s got nothing to do with heat from the Sun, only light. The brighter the light the more electricity flows. In Spain, on the South coast we get around 320 sunny days every year.
Solar Panels can be used to power your home as long as there is sunlight (even on cloudy days). Any surplus that isn´t consumed is fed back into the electricity grid and your energy provider will give you a credit that can be offset for any electricity that you consume when your panels aren´t producing – i.e. when the sun goes down.
As well as this you might consider a battery that can be charged using your excess electricity and consumed later.
Send us a message, using our contact forms. If you can, attach a copy of your most recent electricity bill.
We will be in touch with a proposal (subject to site survey).
Carry out site survey (approx. 1hr or less) Assess your property with a view to an installation and answer any questions.
Confirm proposal and arrange installation.
Start your journey to zero cost energy.
See some common questions and answers below, or send us a message here.
Only installers that are employed, trained and insured will work on your installation.
Some of the larger businesses advertising will use their brand to attract customers but actually don´t use their own people to do the installation. What you get is the lowest bidder locally working on your property.
We offer up to 30 year guarantees on Solar Panels, up to 15 years on inverters and batteries and 20 years on workmanship.
Yes all aspects of your installation are taken care of and during the life of your system.
The installation and connection of a Solar PV system is only part of the story. You will also need licences and permissions and expertise making applications for grants and subsidies. Once your system is installed you will also likely need someone to call to offer ongoing support when you have questions about how your system is performing.
Yes, those panels won´t clean themselves and will work much better if they are kept clean and sand free in our mediterranean weather. It´s easy to do yourself but we can offer a cleaning and inspection service that includes electrical checks.
We only use industry standard data to make your calculations. Factors taken into account include location, orientation, angle of pitch and shading. We then factor in your consumption and make a projection.
Typically we will install in 1-2 days
We can install panels on an existing pergola, subject to an inspection, or we can build one for you.
We will apply for any grants that are available to you. But remember grants are not controlled by the installer and should not be used to justify an investment
Your main contact will be your Sales Manager who will be with you throughout the process and manage your project. After installation they are still available as well as our office staff who you can call during office hours.
We will ask you for a copy of a recent electricty bill and send you a quotation.
We will then visit your property to make a technical assesment and answer any questions.
We will then agree a date for your installation
After your installation your Sales Manager will go through your new system with you before you make your final payment.
*As of 2023, it is estimated that around 300,000 households in Spain have installed solar panels. This number reflects a significant increase in residential solar adoption, driven by decreasing costs of solar technology, favorable government incentives, and a growing awareness of the benefits of renewable energy
